A unique process was developed to create these lovely night lights. First, a thin layer of opaque black porcelain is cast over a translucent white porcelain. Next, the artist carefully etches the black porcelain away in an intricate pattern, revealing the milky white porcelain underneath. Then, the piece is fired in a kiln at over 2500 degrees, which gives the porcelain great strength, and the white porcelain its lovely translucency. These delicately detailed night lights are a great addition to any room in the house. Use it in the hall or by the stairs as a safety light at night. Light up the bathroom with its soft glow. Use it in the kitchen as a beacon to your midnight snack.
