Very pretty, good product, well made. Works fine, no problems, I've had it for 6 months now.
The photo of this lamp looks lovely, but it's nothing compared to when you actually open the box and see this amazing stained-glass shade. It's weighty, it's solid, it's meticulously-crafted. And when you light it up it's very hard to tear your eyes away.
The foot switch in the middle of the cord, as others have mentioned, is rather illogical. It works for my situation and furniture layout, but a foot switch on the lamp's base would have been more practical to be sure.
That aside, I'm thrilled with this beautiful lamp. Its colors would work with just about any color scheme. There is a lot of red in the middle of the shade, but I have it in a room that's mainly full of shades of pale green, blue and teal, and the pale greens and blues in the lampshade seem to be accentuated due to this. Just as I'm sure a room with lavenders would bring out the bits of lavender glass in the shade and so on. I recommend a 40 watt bulb - creates an even warmer glow.
I got my lamp through Amazon from a separate seller for about $109. As of this writing Amazon is asking an overly steep $196. Might be best to wait for them to be more reasonable and put it on sale, or find it through a third party. Pretty doesn't have to mean "strip-mine-your-wallet".
